United States and Japan catastrophic loss-sharing mechanisms Enlightenment to China - based on the insurance point of view

Catastrophe losses of the countries sharing the design of mechanisms exist some differences, creating different results. United States and Japan in the catastrophic loss-sharing mechanisms have a wealth of experience, catastrophe losses through insurance contribution has been very good cover. In this paper, the two countries in natural disasters, particularly in agriculture and earthquake disaster insurance to share the experience of the analysis, and reveal its common and successful experience to the mechanism of China's catastrophe losses related to the design and policy proposals, namely the establishment of giant Insurance disaster management response mechanism, establish multi-storey risk-sharing mechanism, vigorously foster reinsurance market players; improve the government to strengthen insurance supervision.
