For members of the insurance contract law and the difference in the resulting conflict, the EU has been using the rules of private international law to resolve the conflict. In order to change this situation, the European Economic and Social Commission proposed a "European insurance contract law," the legislative proposals, while the European Commission will be the insurance contract law as part of contract law, "the European Contract Law" by the level of legislative proposals, The discussions focused on "common frame of reference." At present, in all member states to retain the insurance contract law at the same time, introduced a single European insurance contract law for parties to choose the applicable contract, it is much more feasible.
